Impact on Students

We created forms through Google forms, asking students about their opinions on the various activities.

We promoted our activities through facebook page and even created a G+ community wherein we asked people, especially students, to post peace messages. We got a huge array of peace slogans, and realised how people long and vouch for peace in and around their lives.

It is said that social networking sites are not safe enough to be used by the students in a right manner. But we proudly assert that we have used Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus as an effective tool in imparting education among the young minds. This was our most effective tool throughout our project.

Although we were bound by the association of only twelve core members for this project, yet numerous students were there, who wished to be a part of our endeavour. Therefore, we included several other students in our project who, although didn’t form the core team, but formed an integral part of our project.

The enthusiasm of students hasn’t gone unnoticed. We Global Ambassadors consider ourselves to be fortunate enough to have got an opportunity to have a word with various students in our school, and find their views and ideas. They were the ones to extend their support wholeheartedly in all the competitions we organised and the activities we did.

As mentioned earlier, we did a lot of collaboration with the students who were the prime target of this student-led learning. It’s great to tell you that we have seen the change in students’ views, opinions and perceptions. They solely agree that students themselves teaching each other are a great way to be educated yourself, for the peers tend to understand your state of mind well. Even the teachers found this idea of student led learning very informative and enjoyable.

With all the activities we conducted and all the events we organised, the result we received had to be great, but it was like a dream come true when the response received by us was so overwhelming. We don’t know if this success story was an outcome of sheer luck or pure hard work, but here are the evidences of our project’s impact on students:
