Globalization has huge negative impacts on the environment and given rise to various environmental issues like water pollution, deforestation, air pollution, soil pollution, contamination of water resources, climate change, biodiversity loss, etc. All the ever growing environmental issues need to be solved on urgent basis by international efforts otherwise they may finish the existence of life on the earth a day in future.
In order to prevent the loss of environment, there is need of globalization of eco-friendly technologies and huge level environmental awareness among people. In order to deal with the negative effects of globalization, companies need to develop greener technologies which may replace the current status of the environment.
The KHMS GTeam of the school seeks to cultivate Eco Warriors who ensure that conservation and preservation are the first principles of maintenance of resources.
Awareness Campaigns & Plantation Drives, Conservation strategies and various other methods are used to help inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the planet in our young learners.
The young messengers of the Vasundhara Club participate in Nukkad Nataks and awareness rallies in the neighbourhood and the RWA to spread the message of protecting the planet. The club members conduct various campaigns like water pledge, plantation drives. Rallies, Nukkad Natak, Awareness Campaigns, Adoption of waste land for greening etc.
We all planted a tree each in the yard behind our school. At first, we all wondered if we could do it. We cleaned the yard, cleared all the weeds that had grown over there. We all arranged for a sapling, planted it in the empty space. It was an amazing experience! Indeed, it is so much fun to sit in the lap of nature!!
Not only this, we also took out a huge rally of students interested in doing something for the environment. Thus a huge procession starting from our school to the nearby residential colonies was witnessed and appreciated by one and all.
Even the students of primary wing pledged to plant a sapling and take care of it. Now that’s what we call a grand success!!!
