The KHMS GTeam has collaborated with several other existing clubs in our school, and this was our first exposure towards global citizenship.

We KHMS students had performed a street play which aimed at Peacebuilding and even performed at India Habitat Centre. The students of Kulachi Global Club of our school, led by the KHMS GTeam and with the assistance of our teachers, spread the message of peace by taking part in a street play. “suraksha”, the street play, preached on how we must be safe on the roads. This exposure to a wider audience helped our performance improve.

Our school Clubs have done many video conferences which made students aware and started our journey towards being global citizens.  We have participated in several conferences, ranging from peace to food and faith to the environment, even from essentials of dialogue to the art of storytelling. We have collaborated with schools across UK, Indonesia, Ukraine, Philippines, Pakistan, and even USA.

Peace promotion, collaboration with other clubs and spreading awareness about certain issues to the masses are other important aspects of being Global which have been truly rectified by KHMS GTeam at KHMS! Our School got the Gold Award from Tony Blair’s Face To Faith Foundation too which was another feather in our cap.

The Global Virtual Classroom (GVC) is a collection of free, online educational activities and resources. It aims to complement the efforts of governments and educators around the world to integrate technology into their classrooms and curricula and to link their schools to the Internet in educationally productive ways, and our school won the silver award in the same!!!
